We just wrote another umbrella (1st one for March) and set an appointment for my EFS for a client who has 2 old 401(k)s with approximately 450K combined that need rolled over and the wife needs a significant life policy.
Also, we wrote 6 umbrellas in February from B file. If you ever want me on a call to promote the system, just let me know. It is amazing what we've uncovered in 6 weeks of using it!
We've really embraced using B file since signing up. We're still working out the kinks on our end, but really enjoy the program. In the past 2 weeks we've completed over 50 B files and successfully increased BI limits on over 20 customers! It is great at uncovering assets that we would have had no idea about in the past. Today alone I've uncovered 2 customers with a net worth of $1.6 million and $2.8 million! We're finding out what they have in their 401(k) and when they're looking to retire. The system definitely pays for itself!
After being an Allstate Agent for almost 20 years, I decided it was time to retire. I put the word out that I would be selling my book of business. I had a dozen or so agents inquire and try to talk me down on my asking price. I had implemented the B-File in our agency almost a year ago and my staff was having the B-File conversation with every renewal customer that they spoke to. I recently sold my book and was able to get above my asking price because I included all the B-File data we had uncovered over the last year. The new agency owner now has a great data base of all of the current customer's life and retirement needs.
B-File has helped me uncover so many exposed assets that needed coverage for our customers. I recently had a gentleman come in to reduce his coverage; I did a B-File with him and found out that he actually had a rather large retirement. We increased his coverage based upon what B-File suggested and he wanted an umbrella policy as well. This was all because of B-File!
